Kicking Against the Pricks

I'm a 22 year old French/biology student currently on medical leave from college in Chicago, now residing in the ever-so exciting state of Rhode Island. Lover of many things - music, art, science, comedy, television, literature, food, language, psychology, etc.etc. I'll never understand how to write an about-me, or how to keep a blog in general - it just feels so fucking self-indulgent. Anyway, a lot of this blog is mental illness and substance abuse related, as it was primarily started as a way to keep tabs on my moods and general state of being, but a good deal is just shit I find interesting or infuriating, that I then feel inclined to throw into the thankless ether of the internet.
